Snoop Dogg’s Rolling Words

So, because it seems that I’m taking a little different spin on this weeks posting, I just wanted to keep the ball rolling and continue to post things that I found tremendously unique. Yes, while this is something that I usually aim for (I always like to keep you guys guessing), I thought that it would be refreshing to see something a little different, and I hope you all feel the same.

Today I wanted to showcase Snoop Dogg’s new book Rolling Words. The book, which is composed of Snoop Dogg’s Kingsize Slim Rolling Papers (smoking papers), contain all of his greats songs and lyrics written in non-toxic ink (don’t you fret!), and act as the interior pages. After you’ve read the pages, you are then able to tear them off (they are perforated), and use them as a smoking wrapper. The book is also composed of all hemp materials, and provides a match striking surface located on the spine. The product was designed by Pereira & O’Dell, a delightful and charming advertising agency located in San Francisco, CA.

“‘Honestly, we were kind of blown away.  It’s a fantastic brand extension for us, and totally captures the vibe and spirit of Snoop and our platform.  We’re excited about the project and eager to see where it takes us.’ While the book is currently for elite distribution, a limited edition book is being discussed for release online. However, 420-friendly festival goers at this year’s Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival will get a chance to sample the rolling papers from posters placed at the festival with the rolling papers as tabs to detach and take” (thedieline).

Because this book is so brilliantly designed (be honest–it’s absolutely genius), it is a work of art in itself, and therefore deserves to be showcased! Let me know your thoughts by commenting in the provided box below, and don’t forget to follow me on my blog!

Enjoy!
